Melatonin helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep. L-tryptophan is an essential amino acid necessary for the production of proteins involved in melatonin and serotonin synthesis. Vitamin B6 helps to maintain normal energy metabolism, normal nervous system function, normal homocysteine metabolism and normal protein and glycogen metabolism.
